Josh Halloway is a WGA award-winning, Emmy-nominated writer, and graduate of the NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Josh currently lives in Los Angeles where he works as a monologue writer for Jimmy Kimmel Live. On joining the Auschwitz Institute’s International Advisory Board:
I’ve known Executive Director Tibi Galis for many years and have had the chance to learn about the important work that the Institute does to prevent mass atrocities across the globe. On a more personal note – my grandfather served in the U.S Army during World War II where he witnessed first-hand the horrors of many newly liberated Nazi concentration camps. His widow – my grandmother – was an interviewer for the Shoa Foundation and is a docent at the Holocaust museum in St. Louis. Both have instilled in me the need to preserve the legacy of the Holocaust and other mass atrocities, so that we never forget and continue to educate the world about and against genocide.
