Katie Losavio is a healthcare executive with a strong financial analysis background and experience in healthcare business strategy, operations, and delivery in a fast-paced environment. She is passionate about ensuring patients receive high-quality, equitable care, and leading others in this mission.
Katie is the current Vice President of Operations at SCA Health, a leading company in ambulatory surgical care. She previously served as Northwell Health’s Assistant Vice President of Operations for ambulatory services in Manhattan’s midtown region. Katie joined Northwell Health in 2013 and served in various roles with progressive responsibility, including managing grant funding and program development for the World Trade Center Health Program.
Katie’s leadership within Northwell Health also included her role as co-chair of the Northwell Health Women in Healthcare Business Employee Resource Group (BERG) membership development committee. She is passionate about mentoring other women in their leadership journeys. Within her local community, Katie volunteers as a patient advocate for the NYC Health & Hospitals/Bellevue Victim Services Program. She is committed to ensuring that survivors of sexual assault receive trauma informed care.
Katie began her career as an auditor for KPMG, managing the audits of major healthcare clients, including NYC Health & Hospitals Corporation. Katie studied Public Policy and Economics at Duke University and went on to earn her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Hofstra University summa cum laude. She graduated summa cum laude from Baruch College’s Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs, where she completed her Master of Public Administration. Katie is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and is currently pursuing her Fellowship.
