Kerry Whigham, PhD

Dr. Kerry Whigham is Assistant Professor of Genocide and Mass Atrocity Prevention at Binghamton University and Co-Director of its Institute for Genocide and Mass Atrocity Prevention (I-GMAP). His first book, Resonant Violence: Affect, Memory, and Activism in Post-Genocide Societies, is published by Rutgers University Press. He has also published articles in Genocide Studies and Prevention, The Journal of Latin American Cultural Studies, Public Administration Review, Tourist Studies, Material Culture, and Museum and Society, and has written chapters for several edited volumes. He is the Communications Officer and a member of the executive board for the International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS). He received a Ph.D. in Performance Studies from New York University.

El Dr. Kerry Whigham es profesor adjunto de Prevención de Genocidios y Atrocidades Masivas en la Universidad de Binghamton y codirector de su Instituto para la Prevención de Genocidios y Atrocidades Masivas (I-GMAP). Su primer libro, Resonant Violence: Affect, Memory, and Activism in Post-Genocide Societies, fue publicado por Rutgers University Press. También ha publicado artículos en Genocide Studies and Prevention, The Journal of Latin American Cultural Studies, Tourist Studies, Material Culture, y Museum and Society, y ha escrito capítulos para varios volúmenes editados.
